True Body and Digital Hell have teamed up on a new split release, each band contributing three of their best songs to fill out the stellar collaboration. Side-A features some True Body's finest work, combining lush goth pop with industrial production and propulsive drumming. "No Day" sounds like the opening hymns of a cult gathering, "Petal" is pure euphoria, and "D.I." a wash of ambient bliss that transitions into the Digital Hell side seamlessly.
Side-B could soundtrack a glitch in the matrix, bending lo-fi house beats, hip-hop and warped noise to build a dystopian hell-scape. "Fuck Henrico Cops" is a disorienting swirl, the refrain of "she throw it up, she throw it down" becoming a place of refuge. "RIP Mark Fisher" builds over a snaking synth bass fit for a midnight rave in an abandoned parking structure.
